On October 16th, the opening event of Iwakura Yuri Design Exhibition in Copenhagen was held at A.Petersen Collection & Craft in Copenhagen. On the day of the event, a large party was held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of “EIRI IWAKURA DESIGN” while many people representing the Danish design industry gathered. Karas, Kabuto, Kamui and Takayama Wood Works, which made use of Japanese woodworking technology, were highly acclaimed in Denmark, the design kingdom.
The “365 Day Designer Part 1 & Part 2” project, which began in the spring, attracted attention from many media as a project that suggested the possibility of a new design business in Japan and Denmark.
